So we have been trying to connect with one another by simply writing your name and contact number on a slip of paper putting it in the offering and after the service pick one up and call and let the person know you are praying for them. On that slip of paper has been a reminder to be praying for three things that originated from Doug Clay, the General Superintendant of the Assemblies of God for all A/G churches for 2020. Those three things are: That we would be Holy Spirit empowered, We would be Bible engaged and that we would be Missions participating churches.

I wish participation would be better and we would hear testimonies of how everyone has been encouraged but we are not quite there yet. I also hope that people would truly begin to take seriously the challenge to pray for those three things that Doug Clay asked us to pray for. I have made it a point to preach about each of those three prayer points and am looking forward to what happens when we truly grasp being Spirit Empowered, Bible Engaged and Missions Participating!
